Boeing Statement on Qantas Airways 787 Dreamliner Announcement
SEATTLE, July 06, 2007 -- Boeing today issued the following statement:
"We at Boeing are very proud that Qantas Airways has decided to move forward with an order for 20 additional 787-9 Dreamliners plus options. Qantas is a key 787 customer with 45 airplanes currently on order and has a well-deserved reputation as one of the world's premier carriers. Boeing will work closely with Qantas to finalize the order in support of the airline's long-term growth plans.
