Boeing dio a conocer la primera foto de la cadena de montaje del Boeing 787 Dreamliner, donde se pueden apreciar el estado de las primeras aeronaves de linea, no olvidemos de todos modos que continua el retraso de la misma con entrega de las primeras unidades al momento para el año 2009 y recien para el 2010 se estaria normalizando a medias la misma.
La empresa al respecto publico el siguiente comentario...
EVERETT, Wash., May 19, 2008 -- The Boeing [NYSE:BA] 787 Dreamliner factory in Everett, Wash., is full with four airplanes in work. The first airplane (right) will fly later this year. The second airplane, which is actually the third to be built on the production line, will join the second airframe in ground-based testing to demonstrate the capability of the structure. The fourth to be built on the production line, (shown as the third airplane here) will also be part of the flight test program. The fifth airplane is also in production, further down the line.
